12" 45RPM made in Japan

In the Japanese market, as early as the mid-1960s, the view that 45 RPM pressings offered potentially superior sound quality began to spread. Consequently, the first 45 RPM series were launched alongside standard 33 RPM records, inevitably reducing the playback time per disc. Interestingly, while all major manufacturers in Japan adopted 45 RPM printing, no major label in the Western market followed suit. I have chosen to list them in chronological order.
